The Yizkor Memorial prayers are said in the Synagogue on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement and three other times during the year. In these prayers, we ask G‑d to 'remember' the souls of family and friends who have passed away. Yizkor, also provides us with a special opportunity to connect with our loved ones.

We will also be remembering our brothers and sisters who were murdered on Oct. 7, 2023 and the victims of terrorism and the Shoah (Holocaust).

It is customary that the Yizkor service includes a pledge to tzedakah, charity, a mitzvah done on behalf of the deceased's soul.

As in past years, we will be creating a Boerne Yizkor booklet including the names of our loved ones. Please send us the names of your loved ones so they may be included in the Yizkor Book.
(Yizkor Book for 5786 is being sent to print on 9/9/25. )
